My weight loss transformation started my journey to changing my mindset and creating the life of my dreams. Today I have manifested bucket list adventures, creating workout videos, being a published author and so much more.
“Happiness isn’t something you put inside you. It’s already there. Sometimes you just need someone to help you find it.” - Princess Poppy (Trolls Movie)
I could be that person for you. I hope my journey inspires you believe in yourself, dream bigger and know that anything is possible!
I transformed my life and I know you can too! I believe in you!
My Mission
I want to be an example of what is possible. Through coaching, teaching and using the tools of positive psychology, manifestation, yoga and fitness, I want to empower people to be happier, get stronger and be fit (mind, body & spirit) to live their dreams.
To go from being a dream chaser to being a dreamcatcher!
“To inspire and impact people to believe in themselves and be empowered to make their dreams come true.”
I met my first spiritual teacher and mentor Sunny Dawn Johnston. I learned about the angels, metaphysics and the law of attraction. She introduced me to book ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ and Louise Hay’s work on affirmations, forgiveness and self-healing.
I realized I had been letting fear and nerves hold me back from pursuing my dreams. I know my weight and health issues subconsciously gave me an excuse not to face my fears.
I learned to take responsibility for my own life, start facing my fears and challenging myself. I developed a spiritual connection and practice that aligned with me. I learned to love myself and create happiness from within.
How it started
I was overweight as a teenager and into early adulthood. I always thought when I lost weight I would be happy. I lost over 80 pounds and still wasn't happy.
That’s when I started doing the inside work.
I met a life coach, who introduced me to the coaching field and positive psychology. I took a nutrition class and that led me to pursue health coach and personal training certifications. Through my fitness coursework I began strength training, which empowered me to be strong, physically and mentally. After a breakup, a friend suggested I make a 30 by 30 list and I took my first yoga class. That class changed my life. I walked to my car smiling and feeling happy.
I knew in that moment yoga was the tool but I was able to change my experience. I had the power.
My love for yoga lead me to buy the PiYo workout DVD’s and I loved the format so much I decided to teach it and my group fitness career began. Two years into teaching I completed my yoga teacher training and it has become the greatest joy of my life.
Life long learner. I completed my life coach certification and now I am working on my Masters in Happiness Studies.
Some of my greatest teachers have been Mike Dooley, Jeannette Maw, Brooke Castillo, Tal Ben-Shahar, Abraham-Hicks, and Unity Spiritual Center and A Course In Miracles teachings.
Now I take courageous action. I know can do big epic things and still be nervous. I’ve crossed many things off my bucket list and accomplished many goals; travel and adventures, creating workout videos, being a published author and so much more. I know I’m just getting started. I changed my life, one belief, one thought, one affirmation, one flow, one workout, one day at a time.
Life coaching, positive psychology, yoga, strength training and manifestation transformed my life.
Now I teach them!
My message to you - anything is possible
You are amazing. You are more than enough. You have the power within you. You manifested connecting with me for a reason. I believe in you!
